Justin Scoggins is out of this month’s UFC on FOX 26 with a rather serious injury.
Scoggins suffered a spinous-process fracture last week in training, BloodyElbow.com learned, forcing him to withdraw from his planned bout against former UFC title challenger Tim Elliott. Elliott first announced the cancellation in a Twitter post Saturday, but did not give details on Scoggins’ injury.
The bout was scheduled to take place at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg on Dec. 16. Robbie Lawler vs. Rafael dos Anjos at welterweight headlines the event.
