Justin Gaethje will meet a former UFC champion in his next fight, but only after they coach a season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Coming off a thrilling Octagon debut in Las Vegas, finishing Michael Johnson and pocketing a pair of bonuses, Gaethje will coach TUF 26 opposite Eddie Alvarez, UFC president Dana White confirmed to Luke Thomas on Thursday.
The 26th season of the reality show will feature women’s flyweights, opening a new division and crowning a new UFC champion.
The UFC has yet to officially announce the pair of coaches, date and location for their meeting, and the TUF Finale card.
