Twitter callouts are a trend in prizefighting, and many big matchups have started this way. And in a surprising turn of events, pop star Justin Bieber decided to join in on this trend by challenging 56-year-old actor Tom Cruise to an MMA fight.
Bieber had some strong words for the Hollywood veteran, which UFC superstar Conor McGregor also decided to try and bank on. “The Notorious” even offered to host the fight and put the promoter hat on.
The mere idea of the fight didn’t seem too absurd, given the matchups that sprouted out from sheer novelty, and the possibility of an instant money-grab.
