It has been a while since former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos scored one of his signature knockouts. A force to be reckoned with at the biggest division in MMA, the Brazilian just wasn’t able to finish a fight in the last five-and-a-half years, ever since he defeated Mark Hunt with a spinning hook kick in May 2013.
Although dos Santos hasn’t remained as active, performing only six times since the Hunt bout, the Brazilian told Combate that he believes to have become a more careful fighter in these last years, which explains why he was unable to stop his last opponents.
