Two-time Olympic judo gold medalist Kayla Harrison will make her sophomore mixed martial arts appearance at Professional Fighters League 6 on Aug. 16.
Harrison will square off against Jozette Cotton at Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. in a 155-pound main card bout. The promotion confirmed the booking following an initial report from ESPN.com.
The full lineup for PFL 6, the organization’s next-to-last regular season event, has not been announced. The main card will be televised on NBC Sports Network following early prelims on Facebook.
Harrison became the first American to win a gold medal in judo at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and repeated the feat with another gold-medal triumph in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
