The last man to defeat Conor McGregor will face a stiff test in Dublin.
Joseph Duffy, who tapped out McGregor with a kneebar in just 38 seconds in November 2010, will take on Dustin Poirier in a lightweight main event at 3Arena on Oct. 24. Ultimate Fighting Championship made the pairing official Wednesday morning.
Duffy, 27, is 2-0 in the Octagon with two first-round finishes. The MMA Clinic product has a career record of 14-1 with four knockouts and nine submissions. Only one bout has went the distance in his tenure.
