Two-time Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight titleholder Jose Aldo will rematch Ricardo Lamas in the UFC on Fox 26 co-main event on Dec. 16 at the MTS Centre in Winnepig, Manitoba. UFC officials on Friday announced the pairing, along with a welterweight showcase pitting Santiago Ponzinibbio against Mike Perry.
Aldo has not fought since he succumbed to third-round punches from Max Holloway in a battle for the undisputed featherweight crown at UFC 212 on June 3. The 31-year-old Nova Uniao export owns a 19-2 record across his past 21 appearances, including a unanimous decision victory over Lamas at UFC 169 in February 2014.
