Jose Aldo released a statement after his second consecutive loss at the hands of Max Holloway.

For the first time in his illustrious career, Jose Aldo is on a two-fight skid. Both of those losses were via third-round TKO, courtesy of reigning UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway.

Aldo stepped in as late replacement for the injured Frankie Edgar at UFC 218 on Saturday night. The manner of which he lost was rightfully devastating for him, but the 31-year-old former long-time 145-pound champion remains optimistic that he would be able to bounce back.
