The Ultimate Fighting Championship will return to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on July 28. Six years after UFC 149, the event will play host to a currently unnumbered UFC on Fox card. UFC official David Shaw confirmed the news to CalgarySun.com’s Danny Austin Friday morning.
The UFC has not confirmed a headliner for the bill, but the co-main event will pit former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo against knockout artist Jeremy Stephens. Aldo (26-4) is coming consecutive loses against the new king of the UFC featherweight division, Max Holloway.
