Jordan Mein un-retires, hopes for UFC return in late 2016

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight division is about to get a bit more crowded, as Jordan Mein has announced his intention to un-retire and begin another run in mixed martial arts (MMA).

After losing to Thiago Alves via knockout (body kick) at UFC 183 in 2015, Jordan announced that he’d be walking away from the fight game after dedicating more than a decade of his life to it. But, at 26 years of age, the Canadian wants to give it another go according to his father, Lee Mein.

"I am happy he is enjoying training and wants to fight again," Lee told MMA Fighting.
