Jordan Mein doesn't turn 26 until October, but he's already had more professional fights than all but the most grizzled of veterans.
And with so much wear and tear on his body, the Canadian welterweight has decided to call it his career.
MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani reported on Wednesday's edition of UFC Tonight that Mein has elected to retire from the sport after 29 pro fights. UFC officials confirmed word of Mein's intentions to retire.
Mein broke into the sport at age 16, where he lost his first pro fight to another 16-year old named Rory MacDonald.
