At UFC 182, Jon Jones stepped in the octagon to face Olympic wrestler and then undefeated fighter Daniel Cormier. Jones defended his light heavyweight title for an eighth time and extended his wining streak to 12 by defeating Cormier via unanimous decision.
In April 2015, Jones was stripped of his title and suspended by the UFC following a hit-and-run incident in Albuquerque, N.M. Now, Jones is set to challenge the last man he defeated, UFC light heavyweight champion Cormier, for the belt at UFC 197 on April 23.
