Jon Jones sought professional help to deal with his depression earlier this year.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion told ESPN that he lived at a traumatic facility for 30 days at the end of June. After the death of his mother in June 2017 and his positive drug test that August, Jones said he felt “pretty hopeless.” So he went to The Guest House in Ocala, Florida, where he received help from counselors and psychiatrists, to learn about “trauma and loss.”
“I regained my happiness,” Jones said. ... “I had to relearn how to love myself as a father, as a husband, as a brother and as a friend.
