Alexander Gustafsson may have re-inserted himself into the light heavyweight title discussion with his knockout win over Glover Teixeira this past Sunday, but he drew the ire of former foe Jon Jones for his post-fight comments.
At the post-fight press conference following UFC Fight Night 109 in Stockholm, Gustafsson called Jones “his biggest enemy” and said that he would be cheering for Daniel Cormier in his rematch against “Bones” at UFC 214 on July 29.
“I don’t like him. I give him that he’s the best fighter of all-time, the best pound-for-pound fighter of our division; of course, everybody knows that,” said Gustafsson, who proposed to his girlfriend in the Octagon after vanquishing Teixeira.
