Former UFC champion Jon Jones pleaded not guilty to five traffic violations on Tuesday.
Bernalillo (N.M.) County Metropolitan Court spokesperson Camille Baca confirmed the news to Sherdog.com. The fighter's hearing was orginally scheduled for Tuesday, but it was postponed when his legal team filed a waiver arraignment last week. Jones is not due back in court until May 11 at 2 p.m. MT.
On March 24, Jones was cited for drag racing, having a modified exhausted, swerving between lanes, exhibitionist driving and obscuring his license plates’s registration. In body camera footage of the incident, Jones argues with police officer Jason Brown and calls him a “f---ing liar” and a “pig.
