MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani reported on Monday night (via Twitter) that the current pound-for-pound king has turned himself into the Albuquerque police and has since been booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center. The police have since confirmed.

Jones was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday morning, running a red light which lead to a 30-year old pregnant woman, named Vanessa Sonnenberg, suffering a fractured arm and wrist.
He ran from the scene, but witnesses say that he ran back for a bundle of cash.
