Look out, UFC light heavyweights. The most dominant mixed martial artist this side of Ronda Rousey will be back in the cage very soon, and he’ll be fighting with a chip on his shoulder because he no longer dons the belt despite never losing it.
Jon Jones (pictured) stood before an Albuquerque judge Tuesday and plead guilty to April’s felony hit-and-run arrest. The former UFC light heavyweight champ was essentially slapped on the wrist and granted 18 months probation.
Jones’ biggest black marks from this incident were left by the UFC, when they temporarily suspended him and stripped him of his title after the arrest.
