Jon Jones Eligible To Return July 2017 After Failed UFC 200 Drug Test

Jon Jones (pictured) can officially put his UFC 200 debacle behind him. During Thursday’s Nevada Athletic Commission hearing, Jones agreed to a one-year suspension after flunking June 16’s out-of-competition drug test for hydroxyclomiphene and Letrozale.

Both anti-estrogen drugs are banned year-round. Jones denied any wrongdoing from from the jump.

Today was a best-case scenario for Jones, as the NAC’s punishment matches the exact terms that was dished out by the USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) following November’s arbitration hearing with the former UFC light heavyweight champion.

During that meeting, Jones revealed he consumed a contaminated sexual enhancement pill he received from teammate Eric Blasic that he believed to be Cialis.
