Former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks had a strong start in his middleweight debut in February with a win against Hector Lombard. But after being once again riddled with weight issues, he incurred his first loss at 185-pounds via a second round TKO against Tim Boetsch.
“Big Rigg” is scheduled to fight Paulo Borrachina in the preliminary card of UFC 217 this November. With the hopes of getting back into the winning track, Hendricks will be moving his camp to the famed Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA Academy in Albuquerque.
Hendricks made the announcement via Twitter.
