Former UFC fighter John Lineker announced on social media he’s making his ONE Championship debut against Muin Gafurov. According to sources, the match-up is set for Oct. 25 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Lineker (31-9) was cut by the UFC after a series of cancelled bouts earlier this year, with “Hands of Stone” pulling out of bantamweight fights with Cory Sandhagen and Rob Font.
The American Top Team talent, who will compete as a bantamweight (145 pounds) at ONE Championship, racked up a 12-4 record inside the Octagon between 2012 and 2019 against the likes of Ian McCall, John Dodson, Michael McDonald, Marlon Vera and Brian Kelleher.
