Over the weekend, Bellator MMA hosted an event in St. Louis, Missouri that was headlined by a bout between Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson and mixed martial arts pioneer Ken Shamrock.
The fight ended in the first round after a punch from Kimbo knocked Shamrock to the ground, but there were plenty of people who were skeptical about how it all went down.
During a fight companion podcast, UFC commentator Joe Rogan spoke out about the fight and made it clear that he has some serious questions about the legitimacy of the fight. Like many, Rogan was confused by Shamrock’s lack of action on the ground and his inexplicable decision to place his hand on Kimbo’s forehead while attempting to “finish” the choke.
