Justin Gaethje continues to earn plaudits for his exploits inside the Octagon and his latest knockout victory against Edson Barboza over the weekend at UFC on ESPN 2 is possibly the most impressive of them all given the caliber of his opponent.
Gaethje put the Brazilian’s lights out inside the first round, for which Ultimate Fighting Championship color commentator Joe Rogan labelled Gaethje “the most violent man in the most violent sport.” After the main event had concluded on Saturday night, Rogan took to his Instagram account to congratulate the 30-year-old.
“To be considered the most violent man in the most violent sport in the world is a [expletive] crazy position, but in my mind [Gaethje] is that man.
