Ultimate Fighting Championship color commentator Joe Rogan didn’t like what he saw from Chuck Liddell at Golden Boy MMA last weekend, but he is just as concerned with the process as with the result.
Rogan watched as Liddell, 48, who was regarded as one of the most fearsome MMA fighters in history during his peak, made his unsuccessful comeback to the sport following an eight-year layoff. Liddell had previously retired in 2010 following three consecutive knockouts suffered to Rashad Evans, Mauricio Rua and Rich Franklin.
While Rogan didn’t like seeing Liddell lying on the canvas again after another knockout, he questioned the style of “The Iceman,” believing it opened him up to being finished.
