The former UFC strawweight champion lost again to the woman who took her championship back in November, Rose Namajunas, on Saturday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
But the 49-46 across-the-board decision in Namajunas’ favor was the sort of scoreline that doesn’t impart how close the fight actually was.
And Jedrzejczyk, for her part, believes she deserved the nod.
“When I heard Bruce Buffer saying the numbers, how the judges scored the card, I was like okay, I expected that I was going to win by split decision,” Jedrzejczyk said at the post-fight press conference.
