Former undisputed light heavyweight champion, Jiri Prochazka has staked his claim for another shot at the title next, suggesting he stand off with newly-minted gold holder, Magomed Ankalaev following the Russian’s controversial decision win at UFC 313 tonight.
Prochazka, a former undisputed champion in the division, managed to return to winning-ways at UFC 311 at the beginning of the year, landing an eventual third round knockout win over fellow ex-gold holder, Jamahal Hill in California.

And himself striking gold tonight at the second time of asking, Makhackala native, Ankalaev landed a unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 49-46) win over common-foe, Alex Pereira — ending the Brazilan fan-favorite’s dominant run as undisputed light heavyweight champion.
