Since losing his second pro fight back in 2008, bantamweight Jimmie “El Terror” Rivera has gone on to win 14 straight bouts.
While Rivera is pleased with the fact he’s been able to win so many fights in a row, the fact that he had gone to many decisions in those victories had him looking to get finishes this past year.
“People don’t want to see fights go the distance,” Rivera told MMAWeekly.com. “They want to see a type of fighter who fights to finish the other person.”
Rivera was able to get a finish in his most recent fight, where he picked up a third-round TKO stoppage against Anthony Durnell at CFFC 43 in November.
