The UFC’s final event of 2016 just received a brand new fight featuring a rising contender in the strawweight division.
On the recently uploaded episode of Inside the Octagon, it was revealed that Jessica Andrade will be taking on Maryna Moroz on the PPV main card of UFC 207, which will be held at the T-Mobile Arena on Friday, December 30th. In the official UFC rankings, Andrade is #5, while Moroz is #10.
Brazil’s Andrade (15-5) moved down from bantamweight to strawweight following a September 2015 loss to Raquel Pennington. She’s looked superb in both of her fights in her new weight class, having picked apart and TKO’d former title challenger Jessica Penne at UFC 199, then choked out Joanne Calderwood at UFC 203.
