Brazilian brawler Jessica Andrade will have a few more pounds to cut before her next UFC fight.
The Parana Vale Tudo product, who went 4-3 in two years as a UFC bantamweight, has decided to drop from 135 to 115 pounds after suffering a second-round submission loss in a rematch with Raquel Pennington in September.
Speaking to MMAFighting.com in 2014, Andrade said that cutting down to strawweight would be "too much" for her. However, she’s finding success in her first attempt.
"It’s easy," Andrade told MMAFighting.com on Thursday. "I expected it to be way more complicated, but I managed to stay at 132 pounds and eat well.
