The veteran fighter has been booked to fight Jodie Esquibel in a women’s strawweight contest at UFC Utica (UFC Fight Night 131). The ever is set to take palce on June 1 at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y.
MMA Fighting confirmed the news, which was initially reported by AG Fight.
Aguilar (19-6), a former World Series of Fighting strawweight champ, was originally scheduled to fight Livinha Souza in February, but the bout was cancelled due to an injury sustained by Souza. The UFC tried to re-book the fight for a later date, but it never materialized.
