Featherweights Jeremy Stephens and Calvin Kattar are being targeted for a fight at UFC 249 on April 18 in Brooklyn.
Multiple sources close to the situation confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Thursday after the fight was initially expected to take place at UFC 248 in March. According to sources, timing was the biggest issue with the fight happening in March but now Stephens and Kattar have verbally agreed to meet in April instead. The UFC has not announced the fight and nothing is official until bout agreements are signed.
