The BFL 37 main event has hit a little speed bump. Battlefield Fight League Featherweight Champion Jeremy Kennedy has been forced out of his main event bout against fellow undefeated prospect Kyle Nelson due to a hamstring injury while training at Team Alpha Male last week.
Kennedy announced the injury via his official Facebook page.
Kennedy (7-0) will put his featherweight gold on the line, along with his undefeated record to stake claim as number one 145er in Canada. After a stint in Thailand, “JBC” returned to B.C. to fight in front of his hometown crowd, defeating Andre Da Silva at BFL 32 and most recently stunning Mario Pereira in the main event at BFL 34 in January.
