Former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk continues to chase greatness. On Saturday, she will be gunning for a second world title when she faces old Muay Thai rival Valentina Shevchenko for the vacant women’s flyweight title.
The 31-year-old Polish fighter recognizes that her years in combat sports are slowly winding down, which is why she intends to make the most out of her career.
“People try to doubt me all the time, but I know who I am. I don’t care, so you can write, say whatever you want about me,” Jedrzejczyk told reporters the open workout scrum.
