Nothing went as planned for Jason Knight at UFC Fight Night 123.
Not only did the 25-year-old Mississippi native lose a clear-cut unanimous decision to underdog Gabriel Benitez in the evening’s co-main event in Fresno, Calif., but he looked like something of a dirty fighter in doing so. In the opening round, Knight was deducted a point for biting his opponent while attempting a takedown.

“He bit my thumb, my finger,” Benitez said in a post-fight media scrum. “I tried to grab the chin, and he bit two times.
