UFC lightweight James Vick will have a chance to fight in his home state next time out. UFC officials announced on Thursday that he’ll be taking on The Ultimate Fighter Brazil veteran, Francisco Trinaldo, in Austin, Texas.
Vick (12-1) will try and make it four in a row, after finishing his last three opponents: Abel Trujillo, Marco Polo Reyes, and, just back in November, Joseph Duffy. His sole loss came in June 2016, when he was knocked out in the opening round by Beneil Dariush.
Francisco Trinaldo was on a seven-fight winning streak, with wins over Paul Felder and Yancy Medeiros, before being stopped by Kevin Lee in March.
