UFC announced on Friday that Jamahal Hill will fight Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 303 on June 29 in Las Vegas.
The 32-year-old Hill just challenged light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira for his belt at UFC 300 last Saturday but fell in a first-round knockout. The 34-year-old Rountree is coming off a third-round TKO win over Anthony Smith last December, marking his fifth straight victory.
Hill is 12-2 lifetime with one no-contest. He previously won the vacant light heavyweight title against Glover Teixeira in Jan. 2023 but relinquished the belt that summer after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon during a pickup basketball game.
