The NAC gave Shields a light penalty of 50 community service hours for his actions against Rousimar Palhares at WSOF 22.
Jake Shields was not suspended or fined for a late strike against Rousimar Palhares at WSOF 22. Shields was given a penalty of 50 hours of community service by the NAC for his unsportsmanlike conduct in the fight. Rousimar Palhares' actions in the fight played a big role in the small sentence.
"I would like to apolagize for throwing a punch. It was out of frustration after having my arm cranked too long," Shields told the commission.
