Tommy Fury has been calling for a fight with Jake Paul for several months. Although he won’t be fighting the YouTube star in his next appearance, he will compete on the same fight card.
Showtime officials announced on Monday that Fury, the younger brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, will face five-time Bellator veteran Anthony Taylor at the Aug. 29 boxing event headlined by Paul and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.
The fight card will take place at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland and air on Showtime PPV. Fury and Taylor will compete in a six-round bout at a catchweight of 180 pounds in the main card opener.
