Jake Ellenberger made the most of what could have been his final opportunity to compete inside the Octagon last weekend (Sat., July 30, 2016) in Atlanta, Georgia, knocking out Matt Brown in the very first round.
After the fight, UFC president Dana White revealed that had it not been for Jake asking for one more shot, he would have been cut from the promotion long ago.
"I’ve been fortunate enough to have a good relationship with (UFC President) Dana (White). When I met with him, I just wanted to talk to him, and of course, he was receptive to that.
