An expected battle between two ex-middleweights at 170 pounds has been scrapped from the fight card of UFC London.
Jack Marshman has been pulled from his scheduled preliminary card fight against Brad Scott just two days out from UFC London for precautionary reasons due to concerns over his weight cut. MMA Fighting confirmed the news Thursday following an initial report by MMA Junkie.
Marshman (22-7), a 28-year-old Welshman who is 2-2 over his four Octagon appearances, has never before competed at 170 pounds.
Scott (11-5) was hoping to make his return to the welterweight division for the first time since a 2012 run to the finals of The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes.
