At UFC 208 back in Feb. 11, 2017, Ronaldo Souza took on fellow veteran Tim Boetsch in a middleweight contest in the main card of the event. The night in Brooklyn, N.Y., “Jacare” took home an extra $50,000 in a Performance of the Night bonus, as he scored an impressive first-round submission win over Boetsch.
Now, almost a year later, “Jacare” will be looking to bounce back from his loss to champion Robert Whittaker, as he takes on Derek Brunson in the main event of Saturday’s UFC on FOX 27.
