Isabella Mir is one step closer to following her father’s path.
Mir, the daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, announced this week via manager Malki Kawa her pro MMA debut on Oct. 22. Kawa told MMA Fighting the 17-year-old Mir will fight Danielle Wynn (4-3 amateur) in a bantamweight bout at an iKON Fighting Federation show in San Carlos, Mexico. The event airs live on UFC Fight Pass.
ESPN was first to report Isabella Mir’s opponent and the MMA organization. The Mirs celebrated the news on social media:
Mir competed as a wrestler at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.
