The UFC’s first show in San Antonio, Texas since 2014 is beginning to take shape.
San Antonio Express-News reported on Thursday that a women’s bantamweight matchup between Irene Aldana and Raquel Pennington is on tap for the July 20th show, while heavyweights Walt Harris and Oleksei Oleinik have been rebooked for this event.
Aldana (10-4) is on a three-fight winning streak, having previously lost her first two UFC bouts. Just a few days ago, the Mexican prospect won by armbar against Bethe Correia at UFC 237, marking her first career UFC finish. Pennington (9-7) is a former title challenger looking to end her two-fight skid.
