Invicta Fighting Championships’ vacant strawweight title will be on the line tomorrow night for both women at Invicta FC 28, as main eventers Mizuki Inoue and Virna Jandiroba both made the 115-pound limit, green lighting their championship headliner. The card emanates from the Union Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Japan’s Inoue tipped the beam at 113.9 pounds, while the undefeated, 12-0 Brazilian Jandiroba checked in exactly on the button at 115 pounds even. It will be the first fight for the 23-year-old Inoue since her July 2016 win over Lynn Alvarez at Invicta FC 18, which marked her third straight armbar victory in the Invicta cage.
