Invicta FC 25 medical suspensions: Three fighters get extended sentences

Three fighters received extended medical suspensions in the aftermath of Invicta FC 25, according to information released Tuesday to MMA Fighting by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).

Strawweight contender Janaisa Morandin received the steepest sentence. The 22-year-old Brazilian was suspended 60 days due to damage sustained in her co-headlining loss to former Invicta FC champion Livia Renata Souza, per CSAC officials.

Two other fighters received similar 45-day suspensions: Bantamweight up-and-comer Alexa Conners, who lost via first-round knockout to Katharina Lehner, and feahterweight prospect Courtney King, who suffered a second-round TKO loss at the hands of Yaya Rincon.
