This Friday, Invicta returns for another event filled with interesting matchups from top to bottom. The fight card is headlined by 22-year-old Mexican strawweight standout Alexa Grasso taking on Invicta veteran Jodie Esquibel in a bout that could very well determine the next challenger for powerhouse Brazilian champion Livia Renata Souza. Grasso has shown a lot of promise and continues to be undefeated as a professional at 7-0, with three wins under the Invicta banner including victories over former Judoka Alida Gray and Japanese talent Mizuki Inoue.
Esquibel returns to Invicta for the first time since late 2014 and is currently 3-1 in the organization with her lone loss at the hands of now UFC strawweight Astro Girl Alex Chambers.
