The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) announced at its recent General Assembly that its first IMMAF European Open Championships of Amateur MMA will take place from 19th through to 22nd November in Birmingham, in the United Kingdom.
The tournament venue will be the Walsall Sports Centre at the University of Wolverhampton. Participants will be accommodated in Birmingham city centre. Situated in the heart of the British Midlands, Birmingham is a lively cultural hotspot at the hub of England’s rail and motorway networks. The city has its own international airport, Birmingham Airport.
For the foreseeable future, IMMAF continental tournaments will be open to competitors from member countries from all across the world, and not just countries from within the continent.
