It didn't take long for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to re-book its ill-fated "Dublin" main event.
Dustin Poirier and Joseph Duffy will collide at UFC 195, which takes place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Jan. 2, 2016.
Poirier and Duffy were expected to headline UFC Fight Night 76 this past weekend (Sat., Oct. 24, 2015); however, a last-minute injury to the Irishman in training (more details here) forced the promotion to scratch the main event altogether.
Duffy -- who revealed he was "gutted" about the withdrawal -- issued a formal apology to UFC, fans, his family and, of course, Poirier.
