Weight cutting continues to plague mixed martial arts (MMA). It's a serious process that can negatively effect a fighter's body if done incorrectly.
Unfortunately for Justin Scoggins, a botched weight cut will prohibit him from fighting Ian McCall tomorrow (Sat., July 30, 2016) at UFC 201 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
While the talented Scoggins was gearing up for the biggest opportunity of his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) career, McCall is the one who will suffer the most. After all, "Uncle Creepy" was scheduled to compete for just the second time in the last two years, had seemingly beat the injuries that have held him back during that span and was in the middle of his own weight cut when the PPV tilt got yanked.
