Saturday night (September 14th) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (28-0-1, 20 KOs) returns to action against Sweden’s Otto Wallin (20-0-1 NC, 13 KOs). The British star is coming off an easy second-round TKO of German Tom Schwarz, making the most of his Top Rank/ESPN debut.
Fury is in line to rematch Deontay Wilder (tentatively in February 2020), but in the meantime, we are subject to Fury in some “tune-up” fights as Top Rank builds up his name to an American audience. Obviously he has to win, as does Wilder against Luis Ortiz in November, and then we can look forward to these two top heavies square off again after their great first bout ended in a split draw last December.
