It’s finally fight day. Tonight (Saturday, March 16th) sees Errol Spence Jr (24-0, 21 KOs) to defend his IBF welterweight title against WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia (39-0, 30 KOs), in what is Garcia’s debut at 147 lbs. It’s a champ vs. champ showdown between two of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, and there should be a large crowd at hand inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Spence has been a welterweight champion since his 2017 win over Kell Brook in enemy territory. The 2012 US Olympian has since defended the belt against Lamont Peterson and Carlos Ocampo, and he has been a force throughout his career.
